Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing client relationships and providing industry insight and experience
across the Chemicals industries
• Making use of Traditional and New Generation Digital and Cloud offerings to
transform the way our clients do business
• Developing new consulting business capabilities in within Chemicals industry,
including but not limited to building leading Digital, Digital Transformation and
Analytics capabilities focused on B2B/B2C Chemicals in the area of commercial
excellence, supply chain and the new generation of digital and cloud offerings
• Writing proposals from sales leads
• Executing single-client proposals. This requires clear written and verbal
communications skills and analytical creativity to determine deliverables
that best serve client needs and budget while maximizing opportunities and
profitability for Accenture
• Project management responsibilities, which require the consultant to manage
the analysis and reporting required for single-client projects
• Maintaining deep knowledge of various chemical sectors (commodity and
specialty chemicals) for client interactions
• Working cooperatively across the organization at multiple levels to efficiently
and effectively utilize available resources and knowledge in a team approach
Qualifications
Should have JLPT N1/N2/N3 or Q1/Q2/Q3 or similar japanese language proficiency certifications
• Have demonstrated past experience leading large, complex, multi-country
transformation programs
• Deep understanding of the Chemical Resources industry
• Thorough understanding of the supply chain and manufacturing industry trends
in Chemicals
• Proven ability to shape and lead business/IT transformation through provision
of strategy, consulting, digital and technology and operations services in
collaboration with our partners within and outside of AccentureProven ability
to implement end-to-end SAP Production Planning (PP) project with a minimum
experience of three SAP S4/HANA implementations (with at least one in
process industry involving PP-PI) covering blueprinting, gap analysis, system
design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support
• Expertise on understanding the business requirements, designing customized
ERP solutions and configuring accordingly in the system
• Ability to lead discovery and design workshops for requirement gathering and
to-be process design
• Competence to play a SME role in all customer conversations involving
solution, prototype demonstration and presentation in orals
• Ability to ideate and develop consulting assets and tools for manufacturing and
supply chain operations, including POVs and thought leadership
• Ability to lead a team of 5-10 consultants and customer core team to manage
the entire PP scope of work in an implementation project while also taking up
critical roles such as Integration Manager, Cutover Manager, Deployment Lead,
etc.
• Competence in identifying opportunities for value creation based on a deep
understanding of digital and or/cloud, blockchain, design thinking, analytics
and big data
• Proficiency in MS Excel
Experience
• 8+ years of experience as a functional consultant, handling areas such as MRP, MPS, SOP and Capacity Planning, preferably within chemical practices leveraging platforms such as SAP
• 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing industry planning and/or plant
operations with a deep understanding of the overall functional and technical
landscape
• Experience working on various manufacturing scenarios such as MTO, MTS,
CBP
• Proven experience in integration of SAP modules such as PP, MM, QM, CO
• Proven experience in custom reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces and
conversions
• Working knowledge of shop floor integration with MES and distributed control
systems with SAP
• Knowledge of SAP APO and/or IBP or similar industry planning tools is preferred
• Hands-on experience in any of the following digital solutions: IOT, cloud,
analytics, and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Proven experience in managing large and complex transformations for an
international chemical corporation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client-facing experience
• Personable interface at multiple levels within client organizations
